A move to Europe has more to plan than a move across London, so we start with a free survey. It shows us what is moving, how it needs to be packed and what access looks like at your current home. Your quote is based on that survey.
From there, our team packs your belongings carefully, your move manager plans access, packing, storage and delivery timings around your dates, and the crew delivers door to door to your new home. The service includes:

How a European move works
Every move to Europe follows the same four steps, and your move manager is your point of contact at each one.
- Survey. We look at what is moving, the access at your home and any items that need specialist care, in person or by video.
- Packing. Our team packs to the level you choose, from full packing to materials and advice if you would rather pack yourself.
- Collection. The crew loads everything at your home on the day agreed with your move manager.
- Delivery. We deliver to your new home and place furniture and boxes in the rooms you choose.
Packing for a European move
Our team's line is "Packed with Precision, Protected with Care", and it matters most on a longer journey. We pack your belongings carefully and, where it is needed, build custom crates for fragile or high-value pieces, each one made to fit the item inside it. Fine art, antiques and pianos get specialist handling from the same team. Our export packing service covers the full process.
You can hand the whole job to us, have us pack only the fragile rooms, or pack yourself with our materials and advice. Your move manager agrees the plan with you at the survey, so packing day runs to a clear list.
Moving to Europe and back
Redpath is based in Whetstone, N20, and every European move is planned from there. We collect from homes across North and North West London, including Finchley, Totteridge, Mill Hill, Barnet, Hampstead and Highgate, and from southern Hertfordshire.
If you are leaving London for a while and plan to come back, you do not have to take everything with you. We can keep what stays behind in storage at our North London base, packed into containers with a full inventory, until you need it again.
